Svakosh has no servers and no accounts, so everything below happens on your own phone.
Getting Svakosh
Svakosh is in final testing and will be available on Google Play first, then the App Store. This page will link to the store listings at launch.
Back up your data
- Open Settings → Backup & restore.
- Choose a passphrase of at least 10 characters — a short sentence works well — and type it twice.
- Tap Create encrypted backup and save the
.svakoshfile where you like: Files, Google Drive, email to yourself.
There is no recovery. Nobody — including us — can open a backup without its passphrase. Keep it somewhere safe.
Move to a new phone
- On the old phone, create a backup (above) and send the file to yourself.
- Install Svakosh on the new phone and open Settings → Backup & restore → Restore from backup.
- Pick the file and enter the passphrase. Your tasks, notes, money entries and attachments come back exactly as they were.
Phone-to-phone transfer tools and Google/iCloud device backups deliberately do not carry Svakosh data (on iPhone they can only carry encrypted data that no other device can open). The encrypted backup file is the supported way to move.
Reminders not arriving on time?
Open Settings → Reminder health check in the app. It checks notification permission, reminder categories, “Alarms & reminders” access (Android 12+) and battery optimisation, and can send a test reminder in one minute.

Svakosh Pro and restoring purchases
Pro is a one-time lifetime unlock or an annual plan, bought through Google Play or the App Store. On a new phone, open Settings → Svakosh Pro → Restore purchases. Backup, restore and CSV export are always free.
